For me, simple things like “you can do this,” also “you’ve been through worse.” But you know, for many years I’ve told myself that all of the heroes in history have been human, just like me. They have had the same fundamental ability as me but often trained for their achievements. So I convince myself if someone else can do it, so could I (with the proper preparation).
“Control what you can” and “you can do hard things” have been two of my main ones but I’ve been using some others lately in response to some of the intentional stress I cause. One I’m liking is “calm and strong”
